Build Your Custom Bowstring

The owner started with manufacturing string sets back in the day when single cam bows where big. One of the huge challenges was to manufacture the single cam string with no peep rotation. We’ll out of many failures the perfect technique was established and up to date we still build them without peep rotation.  

In 2020 the idea came up to start business, and officially Spinning X Custom Bowstrings was established. Our main focus is on our customer services, and all ur custom string builders have direct interaction with the clients. We also focus on the turnaround time so that our clients can be out there in the woods or on the target range quickly again. Our business model is structured so that by early 2023 we’ll have multiple franchises around the globe.

We are already in talks with one of the biggest string manufacturing equipment specialist in the world to help us manufacture string making equipment for all our new franchises. 

When it comes to the manufacturing process, we don’t use just one, but different techniques to manufacture the best string sets money can buy.  Each string set’s material we lay out are tensioned to the client’s use of the string set. Of course its a in house secret what coated material we use and under which tension the “pre material” gets stretched. 

Under the “Tension Period” we have a minimum tolerance factor we calculate over minutes to determine the quality of the string set, If not met we start the whole process over with new materials.

When it comes to twisting, solid or two colors we “Spin twist the X Strand” to ensure the stiffest, most controlled point is on the nock point, this point is between 1.5” – 2” long. The X strand is 1 – 4 strands in the bundle we give special care to.

When we claim all our sets are handmade custom sets our clients can be certain it is, from laying the materials out, pre tensioning the materials including serving materials to the serving process, it all gets done by hand, the only part of the manufacturing process we use a machine is when we tension the material. We’ve got a 20 point quality control check which all sets must go through before leaving the Spinning X lab, if any string or cable fails one of these points, we manufacture the failed component over.

When it comes to our custom sets, a string builder will go through a one on one questioner with the client and gather information on what the client’s requirements are and what outcome the client wants to achieve. Our standard string sets we manufacture you can order here by choosing the total amount of cables + string you’ve got. You can choose from a 2 piece set, which is usually a single cam configuration to a set for your Prime bow. These sets you can order or twisted two colors or solid colors. 

Best serving colors you can choose is black or white (white which turn clear if served), and bear in mind the building process and technology we use in our custom string sets and standard string sets are all the same.
